Customize Your News Feed

Posted by nitin on July 7, 2008 under MyFreeCause |

We’ve just rolled out a new feature: customized news feeds. Now you can see the headlines you care about on your home page.

If you click the [edit] link on the dashboard, you will be taken to a page where you can subscribe to feeds from your favorite websites and blogs. You can enter either the direct URL of a known feed (i.e. http://rss.cnn.com/rss/cnn_latest.rss), or simply enter the URL of any website (i.e. cnn.com) and we’ll do our best to find all the feeds published at that site. Try it out on your favorite site - they might be publishing a feed right under your nose! Once you add a few feeds, go back to the dashboard and you’ll see all the latest headlines (newest on top). We will continuously refresh the feeds for you, so you can expect fresh content each time you visit.

If you have any questions, comments or bug reports, we’d love to hear them. Please leave a comment here and we’ll be sure to address it.

I have purchased a pink ribbon pin but it never asked me to join or have a customized news feed?
How do I change the July 2008 to September 2008?
Thank you and keep the good work, with our help, to achieve your objectives.

Ilove this - the cause is a great one and whoever came up with “freecause” should be very proud. I was sent the invite by my sister and it was the best gift.
